Hi Kathy,
Enclosed are pictures of
Jessie (Inko/Aley) taken last week. We measured her and she now is
24 1/4 inches.
She will easily make 25
inches and is going through a leggy period right now. Obedience
training is coming
along and she enjoys
agility. Agility is more fun for her as she likes playing with all
the other dogs. She
certainly has a WONDERFUL
temperament! Everyone marvels at how well she gets along. I guess
they
have met some not so
wonderful GSD's!
Hope everything is well
with you and yours.

Just a note to let you know that LILY has reached her
first birthday and she is doing great. She is a beautiful girl. She

She is a pure joy to be with and you
truely did help us
pick the perfect dog! She loves to play catch with the Frisbee and
take walks. She is very smart and talks
to us during our
breakfast every morning.
Thanks again for all the time you
spent helping us and if ever you need a reference be sure to add

Hey
Kathy!
Just wanted to send you some pictures and let you know how
Sam is doing! She's amazing and we love her
here! After she arrived in Chicago I took her back home with
me to Canada with our other dogs and she
was
great! She gets
along with all the dogs. When she got here she as a 5 month old was
better behaved then our
other 3 dogs
together! Gerald has been working with her and taught her fetch and
she picked it up right away.
He can't wait to
get her into agility. Everywhere we have taken her we have
had so
many people compliment her
and how
smart, beautiful, fun, loving, how well behaved and well
trained she is!
You did an amazing
job
training her and getting ready for her to come live with us. She has
been a great addition
to the family and
we love her so much! We want to thank you for taking care of her for us
before we could take
her in. We
speak highly of Sam and her breeders and how outstanding of a job you
have done with her!
Once again we want
to thank you.
We love her to
pieces!

Kathy,
These are the most recent pictures we have
of "Bruno vom Buflod". He weighs 51 pounds and gained
20 lbs in 6 weeks!
He is soooo beautiful! I didn't know
much about German Shepherds before we got
Bruno but when we take
him to the dog park and I see the other Sheperds, I'm almost
embarrassed at
how much prettier he is
compared to others. People just freak out over how good
looking a dog he is!
He loves his 2 Jack
Russell brothers "Jack and Buster" in the picture. They play
all day long and he never
hurts them!
We love him sooo much thank you for
everything!

If you are looking for an outstanding
breeder and trainer of German
Shepherds,
look no further. We recently added two
beautiful Shepherds to our family and
we
are 100% satisfied with our puppies and
the support we have received from
Kathy!
In addition, we recently decided to have
Kira and Kimba boarded and trained
while
we were out of town. Upon our return, we were
literally amazed with the
transformation that they had gone
through. Hans did a
magnificent job training them
and they are much more disciplined and
easier to control then before.
We are so
satisfied with the service that they will
receive another board and train later this
year
to learn additional commands.
The Buflods are passionate
about German Shepherds and it shows
in the service that you
receive.
Thanks
again,
The Rogers

Hi Kathy,
We wanted to send you some new pictures
of Patton. He will be 2 years old this coming Sunday.
He weights 92 Lbs. People still
stop us on walks to tell us how beautiful he is....of course we love
it and
never get tired of hearing it. I
even had a man tell me at the park we walk in that he was watching
the
"Dog Whisper" the other night and he
thought of Patton and I. Patton is now walking around the
trails
with me "off leash", what a feeling
that is knowing he will stay at my side and not run away.
We love having him. Thanks again
for raising such great GSD's.

Hi Kathy:
Siwa has been a member
of our family for two months now, but it is as though she has been
with us all her life.
She is just a wonderful dog. She
loves her new life. She and Bill go for a nice long walk
almost every morning.
She loves to run and chase
chipmunks. Right now she is determined to chase away the
groundhog that lives
under the barn and eats out of the pear
tree.
Thank you so much for recommending her for
us. She has brought us much joy in just the short time we
have
had her. She is a sweet,
sensitive, loving, and happy girl!
We
have included some pictures of Siwa living at her new house in
the country. She is looking regal sitting in
the grass, watching Bill mow the back
pasture from her screened in porch, and celebrating her birthday
with a
"frosty paws cake" - although she
wasn't quite sure what it was at first, or what the fuss was all
about !
See you when we take a trip and bring her to
board. We know she misses her dog friends and your family
and
would love to visit one of these days
soon.

Kathy,
I can not thank you enough for
answering your phone that night and allowing me to buy your last
first pick female.
After losing my two eldest dogs
Nikita(Samoyed) and Sosha(GSD) at the ages of 13 1/2, I lost my
father in Nov 07
and Sosha's son Samson this Jan 08 at
11 1/2 (he had very bad hips from growing so large so quick and was
only
expected to live to be 2).
Besides losing my dads sister in Sept 07, his brother Dec 07, me
being in the hospital for
5 days with a serious illness 2 weeks
after my fathers funeral and recently another of his sisters this
June and several
friends, I knew I needed to have
something special come back into my life. After Samson died I
had jumped the gun
and arranged with a different breeder
to buy a puppy this August. After counting down the months
for the planned
breeding she informed me it was
cancelled and was not sure when she would be having another litter.
I could not
believe how devastated I was when I got
the bad news.
I decided to look at more classier
breeders web sites that were not so
far from where I lived, I remembered looking
at your page before since it had so
much good information and beautiful
dogs that I thought would be a lot more
expensive. I am so glad that the
other deal fell through, after I talked with you that night you allowed me to
come
meet you the next
day! When we arrived at
your farm, you had the father Basko out for us to see, we
could not believe
how friendly, calm, and beautiful, or how much better of
quality he was. It made me happy to spend more on a
puppy
after seeing him.
Kathy, my husband had not seen me so
happy in a long time after we left your place! And Bella
is
everything I could imagine in a well
bred GSD and more, it has been a dream come true for me to own a
German-German Shepherd.
I could not believe how quick her ears
came to a peak and stood up, some neighbors thought I did something to get
them looking so good. I just
explained it was a sign of a well bred German Shepherd.
I have made sure to let everyone know
where I got her. I finally got a chance to take Bella to show
the people who
know me at Complete Petmart and they
could not believe how well behaved she was and how awesome she
looked.
I could not believe how quick she potty
trained and learned commands in German and English and hand
signals
at such a young age. I have
previous experience in training puppys/dogs and she is amazing
me! I put a training
collar on her at about 3mos and
could not believe how perfect she healed and sat next to me
when we would stop,
this was the first time we went
walking on a leash in our neighborhood. I should have known
when she learned
down and sit in English and German at 8
weeks old. Not only is she beautiful and intelligent, she
loves to play and
always has a toy in her mouth, has the
best personallity, and loves everyone including kids and
other animals.
She is everything I could hope for, I
feel it was destiny, she is the one I picked when I saw the
puppy pictures and
later as
you know she picked me and would not leave my side. She
was also the one you tested to be least prey
aggressive. Kathy you definitely know your dogs and you knew
I needed a dog that would not have aggressive
prey instinct since I own a licensed pet raccoon who loved playing
with my old dog Sammy(Samson),
they even gave each other
kisses. I can't wait to get you
pictures of these two soon, I do not see it taking long
for these two to be just as
close.
Once again thank you for everything! I
hope to see you soon and will send you more updated
pictures.
Take care and God
Bless....

Kathy,
I just thought I would drop you an email and let you know how
Bear is doing. After making
it home from Ohio to Pennsylvania in the blizzard of '08, we
could not be happier with Bear
and all he means to our family. He is a wonderful,
beautiful, totally lovable boy. At 5
months old he is weighing in at 52 lbs. He has a
gentle, playful, intelligent nature. He loves
the family and being outdoors. He has been learning very
quickly his basic commands. I was
able recently to test his good nature when I took him to our
anual horse show here in Devon,
Pa. I could not get through the grounds without everyone
stopping me and telling me what a
gorgeous dog he was. They were surprized that he was
only 5 months old and already had
such a regal carriage and large size!!! He loved all the
attention, wagging his tail the whole
time we were there. His temperament and intelligence is
everything we wanted in GSD.
I have recommended you to EVERYONE I know and ANYONE who
asks.
You truly have some of the most beautiful dogs
around!
Thank you so much for Bear....

Kathy,
Hi, we haven't spoke for a while and i wanted to forward some
adult pics, of the most
beautiful female shep you've produced to date ( sorry, i'm
biased and VERY proud).
Madame Nyxse Vombuflod, is an awesome young lady, and we adore
her. I've never seen
such a well adjusted, stable dog, with so much personality. She
loves kids, and can be around
large groups, (we socialize often) without any problems. She
has begun a regular grooming
schedule, that long plush coat!!! We just added another english
bulldog puppy just Easter
weekend, and we were a little wary, but o man did she make us
proud!!! What an instant
mother!!! She even feeds him her food when i shoo him away from
her bowl!!! So now her
playmates include a small pony that she herds daily, a lhasa
apso that she annoys, and now
a little pudgy bulldog. Anyway, thank you so much for your
dedication to this breed,
and producing such amazing animals, and thank you for your hard
work getting us matched
with our dream girl!!! I look forward to seeing her pics on
your website!!

When we decided to get a German Shepherd we didn't know
much about the
breed. We found Kathy's website which has a lot of
information about the
breed, their traits and behavior. The decision to
buy a German Shepherd
from Kathy was easy to make after talking with
Kathy on the phone and
going to their home and seeing the facility where these
dogs are bred
and raised. Kathy is not just a person with
puppies to sell, she cares
about the dogs and is very knowledgeable about the
breed.
Once we took Ezra home and had questions, Kathy was
more than happy to
take the time to help and never acted like we were
bothering her. We
would absolutely recommend Kathy as a breeder.
As for the dogs, we may be a little biased because Ezra
has been a
wonderful companion. She was housebroken in 3 days,
very intelligent,
well mannered, protective, easy to train and has
become a great addition
to our family.
Kathy also recommended K-9 performance of Cincinnati
for obedience
training which was very helpful. The trainer told us
Kathy breeds high
energy, high drive working dogs and they need to have
daily activity.
Ezra's daily activities include training sessions,
playing football and
playing with our cats.
The most important question everyone should ask
themselves, is not only
if these dogs are right for me but am I the right
person for these dogs.
Kathy's dogs are not lap dogs, they are working dogs,
meaning they need
daily exercise and some type of activity. Our trainer
told us if we don't
give Ezra an activity to do she would find one
on her own and it may not
be something we would like.
Kathy is not only an excellent breeder she
also is a very good person and
we would recommend her and her dogs to anyone
who would give the dogs
the same love and care they deserve.
Thanks again for all your help,
Teresa & Kyle Keesee

We were looking for a German Shepherd puppy
with good blood lines, healthy and one that would get along with our
family which consists of 13 grand
children.We looked at several
puppies and then went to Kathy’s and fell in love with
Sophie who was only 8 weeks old. We could tell right away
that she was different from the other puppies we had seen
at other places. She was very pretty and
attentive with a great disposition. When she was 6 months old we
enrolled her
in obedience training. Now that she is 8 months she
is so well behaved, a pleasant companion
and fun to have as part of our family. Our grandchildren love her
and she loves their attention.
We keep getting comments
on how pretty she is and how soft her coat
is. She is very smart
and learns quickly. We
are glad to have checked out the
website and found Kathy Buflod’s site. Kathy is very knowledgeable
about her German Shepherds, and it is evident of
how caring and particular she is with
them. She also gave us
good tips, since this is our first house dog.
It was also fun to watch
Kathy demonstrate the various commands with Sophie’s
father.
Sincerely,
Bruce and Carol Tarter

Hi
Kathy:
At four and a half months old, Lena is knocking on
the 45 pound door! Her ears are just
about
up --right ear is up, the left about 90% there, and she has lost all
her top and
bottom
teeth up to her canines. She is a little clown and he latest
accomplishment just this
morning
is jumping up on our bed all by herself. (it is a pretty high bed).
She
helps wake Steve up in the morning.
She loves to learn and
nags me if I haven't gotten to her little evening training sessions
in
a
timely manner. She is walking great on the leash alone, but
obviously when the other
dogs
are
loose and with us she just wants to catch up with them. She and
Astro continue to be
best
wrestle
buddies, although I think Astro sees the writing on the wall that
she is going
to be
bigger than he! She also started eating in the room with the
other "big dogs" and is
learning our dining rules, eat and leave.
We
hope to bring her up once the weather warms up for a
visit!
See you
soon!
Carolyn, Steve and Lena

Hi
Kathy:
HAPPY
NEW YEAR. Just wanted to let you know that Asco is healthy and
happy
down
here in Florida. We call him “Doc” after a character in a
series of books that
I
read. The character is a very large, very intelligent guy who
is a trained killer with
an
unusually gentle heart. It seemed to fit. He seemed to
take very easily to the
change.
He is the most loved dog on the planet. He goes to
doggie-day-care so he’ll
stay
friendly and well exercised while we’re at work. He is so
exhausted some days
that I
barely know we have a dog in the evenings. He is quite the
head turner.
Everyone loves
him! He loves the beach, especially the pelicans and
osprey. I think
he’s a
bird dog in disguise!
He isn’t as crazy about the boat or the Gulf yet but
we’re
sure
when the water is a little
bit warmer and we’re swimming, he’ll get the idea.
He
seems to really like riding on the golf cart that we
use at the island house.
Attached are a couple of photos. I’ll send
updated ones when he finally understands
the joy
of swimming on a hot Florida day.
Thanks
for bringing us together!

We received our beautiful puppy
at 9 weeks old. He is the most wonderful dog
we
have ever had! The minute I saw
him I knew he was the best of the best and he
has
proved it numerous times. Every
where we go people rave about him. The most
common compliments: "Wow what a
dog!" "Is he from Europe?"
"Where did you get him?"
"He is so calm!" "He is so smart!"
"He is beautiful!"
People can really tell he is
from good stock.
To say the least we are very
proud!

Kathy,
I just wanted to thank you for
our beautiful German Shepherds Koda & Boo.
Koda had some big paws to fill
after the loss of our German Shepherd
Bear,
and he is everything we could
of ever hoped for in a Shepherd.
He is confident patient and a
constant guardian and companion to our three
girls.
Boo is coming along very
nicely. She has completed four
levels of obedience at
the age of 9 months and is
blossoming into a wonderful companion and guardian
for our
family.
These dogs never disappoint me
with there unconditional love and service.
Thanks
again,
The Edwards
