Hi
Kathy,
Just a quick note to let you
know Brody is doing Wonderful and we
absolutely
love him to death. He went to
his first training class today and did
fantastic..
In fact the trainer used him
to demonstrate for most of the class. She was
very
impressed with him!...In fact
she said she is looking for a GSD puppy and
asked where we got him...we
told her from you guys and gave her the
website..
so don't be suprised if you
hear from her...Oh yeah the Vet also was very
impressed with Brody...said
he had excellent temperment for a puppy and
Wonderful bone
structure....It is amazing how many compliments we get
for
Brody...when we take him to
"town" for a walk...It seems like everyone
stops
and is awestruck with his
good looks....He is my daughters Best
buddy....
we could not be happier and
we are so very glad we went with such a
quality
puppy from Quality Breeder...
You are not only Nice people...But i could not
imagine a better breeder
anywhere!
Thanks once
again!
God Bless and have a
Wonderful Holiday

River vom Buflod
My Vet recomended Vom
Buflod German Shepherds when I told him I was looking for a
shepherd pup. When I called, Kathy was delivering the last
of a litter so I
decided it was the right decision to go ahead and get a
pup.
My girl River is now 6
months old and is so smart that I can show her
something
only 2 or 3 times and
she learns it. Not to mention that she is maturing into a
beautiful dog and gets lots of compliments! She socialized
well in puppy kindergarden and is in her second obedience
class
where she excells and
is eager to please. At home she is a clown and her
best
friends is a 9 yr old
20lb. cat who is very patient with her.
I am considering
another pup next fall and will definaitely return to Vom Buflod
for another Shepherd.

Hello
Kathy,
I thought that I
would send a couple of pictures of Ronin so you could see how he has
grown.
He was at the
vet today; he is weighing in at 51.5 lbs at 5 months! He and the cat
still are not getting along;
however he and
the two girls are doing well together.
He is a
beautiful puppy, he receives compliments every where he goes!
Take
care,

IS IT AN ALIEN?!? SOMETHING WENT
WRONG...SOMETHING WENT TERRIBLY WRONG!!

LETTER
OF REFERENCE
April
16, 2007
We
are the proud owners of "Jewel", "Adora" and "Willow" vom
Buflod! Our fabulous experience started
with
the selection of Jewel then
5 weeks after Jewel came to live with us - Adora arrived!
Kathy made a very
wise
suggestion that we get "the Girls"close
together and work through the "puppy phase" at the same
time.
That
was such good advice!
Well
- as if our lives weren't rich enough..."Willow-bear" arrived
a four months later. It's was pure
heaven!!
When each
puppy arrived in AZ, it was such a thrill to have them run
right out of their airline crates into our
arms. They
were the
picture of health, so beautiful, full of confidence, happiness and
great energy. We already
had
a 5 year old, GSD male -
"Romeo" and wanted to find great playmates for him. Kathy
carefully listened as
we
described our household and found the perfect match to
keep balance in our home. From the moment each
puppy
met Romeo, they were confident and ready to play. Romeo
was equally excited to play and has been
quite the
gentleman with his new little friends!
"The
Girls" are confident to meet people for the first time and eager to
say hello. They have such a sweet
temperament
when greeting
children. When we take daily walks our neighbors always come
running to pet
the
dogs. It's quite a sight to see all FOUR
GSDs walking together in perfect formation.
During
our first inquiry about puppies, Kathy communicated with genuine
caring and expertise to help find
the
right addition for our
family. Every step of the process was wonderful!
Pictures were emailed
of our
puppies
from the time of birth and weekly
photos were sent from 3 weeks all the way up to the day
before
flying
to AZ. We even
received video footage of the puppies running
and playing. Kathy always called to
share
updates on the puppy's development....It really made us a part
of their lives from day
one.
In
addition to Kathy being available to answer our questions -
their website is both beautiful and informative.
To
this very day, if we have questions, we receive prompt
answers to our calls or e-mails.
Although
our only contact has been through the phone or emails - we have
found Kathy to be a truly kind,
caring
and decent person. Kathy
has a passion for doing what is best for every one of the
dogs.
We
are so happy to count Kathy among our friends
and cherish our
Vom Buflod puppies as part of our family.
With
appreciation,

We are the owners of 7 GSD’s, 3 of which we bought from
Kathy. She has wonderful dogs.
We have had many questions over the years about puppies, dogs,
breeding, care and pregnancy,
among others, and they are always right there with an answer
or suggestion. Along with their high
quality puppies comes a helpful hand and a willingness to provide
the new owner with as much
info as possible to make your new puppy happy and stay healthy.
All breeders should take a few lessons from them, I know we
have.
Thanks for putting up with us for so long, and in the future!

Patton at 18 months "Ohio
Blizzard of 2008"
Patton vom Buflod (Skip vom Kottersbusch/ Dascha vom
Buflod)
4/14/2007
Kathy,
Time has flown by and
Patton is now 6 months old.
He has grown up fast
and is very strong. He started training at K-9 when he was 10 weeks
old, and has done
very well in the
classes. We recommend
that your clients go to classes with their puppies;
we need the training
as much as they do.
My husband and I
always wanted a GSD, and he is everything we wanted in a dog. He is beautiful, proud
and loyal… what an
exceptional breed. We
are so glad we found you when we were looking for our puppy.
Your dogs are
everything GSD’s should be.
Patton loves to go
for walks (we try and go everyday)
GSD’s need something
to do and Patton loves the walks and his tennis ball. We always get stopped by
people
who have questions
about him or just to tell us how pretty he is.
Thanks for helping
whenever we have questions!
We love him and are
very glad we have him.

He's 85

He still turns heads
everywhere he goes.

We love looking at everyone else GSD's on you

Hope you enjoy these

Arko vom Falkberg (Ursus vom Almhof /
Kerry vom Falkberg)
4/11/2007
Hi
Kathy,
We
wanted to thank you for our wonderful Arko. He is so gentle
with our two five year old boys,
and
with our older dog, Antonia. Our children have had lots of
friends over to visit and Arko is
always
patient with them and seems to genuinely like children. Arko
is getting used to the new
sounds
of the city very well--he is very confident around other dogs and
has never picked a fight.
In
our neighborhood, many people walk their dogs, so that was
really important to us.
It
is a joy to be around a dog that is so well mannered--it only takes
a few times to let him know
the
expectation and he gets it.
We
love Arko so much and are so happy that we foundthe perfect fit for
our family.
The
other thing that is so interesting is that everywhere we go, people
always say, wow, beautiful dog! Can I pet
him?
Anyway, thanks again, and we are confident that
when Antonia's time comes, we will know where to get another dog
we can trust.
Sincerely,
the Martin-Bourne
family

3/23/2007
Dear
Kathy,
Thank You so much
for the wonderful opportunity to
own one of your exceptional dogs.
At
5 1/2 months old, Baron is so much better than I ever expected a
puppy could be. As you know
I
brought
Baron home to two kids under a year and a half- a 4 month old and a
15 month old. I have
never
regretted that choice. Baron LOVES both of my children so much as
protects them like their were
his
own puppies. I have never seen a dog that knows so instinctively what his job is and how
to do it.
I
rarely have to correct his behavior around the kids and he has
become my shadow. I would not trade
him
for the world! And your continue willingness to help even after I
brought him home shows your true
dedication to the breed. I have already
recommended you to several friends and will continue to do so!
As
soon as Baron is a little older, we will most definitely be buying
our next German Sheperd from you.
So, if you are wanting to
buy a GSD from Kathy and are worried because of having young kids,
just
ask her for my number-
I
have no problem letting you know my personal experience!
Sincerly,
Amanda

Felix vom Buflod (Inko vom Kolenda/ Lera

Here's
a photo of Felix last winter, at our cabin at Lake
Arrowhead.
He
is doing great, as you can see he loves the snow.
Jaime,
the first trainer who worked with Felix, said he's a great dog and
that
she
wished all the dogs she worked with were like him, so well-balanced
and eager to work!
He
has a wonderful temperament and he took to training really well.
An
agility facility is opening
up
near us soon so I'm going to try him with that too, I think he'll
love it!
He
is so beautiful and smart, I'm really happy to have
him.
Best,

Bristol vom
Buflod
Just thought I would send you
an email with pics of our beautiful boy "Bristol".
He definitely has beautiful
color and is going to be a very good size shepherd. We love
him to death,
and he is very spoiled!
We could not be more pleased with this dog. He is exactly what
we were looking
for and has so many of the
characteristics of our previous shepherd that passed away early in
the year.
He is getting bigger by the
day. He has the best, most laid back temperment, yet loves to
play!
I would highly recommend you
to anyone looking for a shepherd. Definitely worth the
trip!
We have talked about possibly
getting another shepherd next spring. If we decide to get
another,
we would positively come back
to you. We were very impressed with the information you
provided
during our purchase, the
quality of the breed, and your breeding in general.
Thanks
again,

YACCO VON DER

2006 USA SIEGER 9-12 Month
males
SG40 GERMAN SIEGER SHOW
2006
Here I am sitting on my patio writing a
letter to you and watching my 2 dogs.
One dog is Wena and the other is her
best friend Yacco. This morning they are plotting
revenge on the mole that got away
yesterday. Yacco's head is buried deep in the
earth
and mud from ear to ear... Oh hold
on... Yes! One less mole to deal with.
Well where do I start? First I
would like to say may THANKS to BOTH of you.
When I was looking for a second dog I
knew I wanted to show and title the dog. However,
I was still on the fence about getting
another dog. I spoke with Kathy about the Hannibal/Hexe
pup.
( I loved the Photo of him
stacked). I decided to take my kids up to visit and look at
him.
When we arrived my kids where more
interested in your horses than the dogs. Hans brought out
Yacco.
I liked what I saw and home he went. By
the way my wife had no idea she was going to have
another
mouth to feed. That is another story.
Yacco fit in perfect. Wena loved him. At that time the
NASS in
Pitts was getting close so I entered
him. Only a 4 hr drive so why not. I got a very nice handler,
Gina Kastrup from Germany, and he
placed VP2 Baby Vice Sieger! I just did not
want him to
come in last. Excellent critique from
the Judge. It was great because you both saw this
happen.
His father's owner Dietmar Nohe was
there to help also.
To shorten this up; Yacco has been
shown several other times with all VP1's.
His most recent Win was the 2006
USA Sieger Show where he was the Senior Puppy
Sieger.
Soon Yacco will embark on an overseas
journey to compete against the worlds best .
I believe he is one of the best. We
will see in Sept. at the German Sieger Show.
For those of you that are
reading this, Hans and Kathy have been GREAT.
They are "Just Good People". In
this world that means everything.
In wrapping this up I would again like to Thank You BOTH. You
have been very helpful
with all my many
questions.
I can now call you my Friend.
See You Soon,
Michael Florea and the
Team

KODA
LAYLA "LITTLE"
HANS Layla July 2007
My wife and I
started talking about purchasing a German Shepherd pup for some
time during the
fall of 2003 but would not settle for anything but the highest
quality.
In December of
that year we started in earnest and came across Kathy's add in
our
hometown paper
and felt a pull to call. I had checked numerous other kennels
in Ohio
and other
states, but found what I was looking for at Vom Buflod
Kennels.
I am in law
enforcement and was wanting a pup with the drive and
personality for the
training
potential of a K-9 unit. After calling Kathy, she said that
she had several males
left so we just
picked up, grabbed dinner and headed toward the Vom Buflod
Kennel.
When we arrived,
we weren't disappointed. Kathy is professional and a
warm caring person.
She showed
us the mother, whom had a strong drive; and answered all
our questions.
We were there for
several hours that evening looking at the puppies and evaluating
them
to pick a puppy that
we felt would best suit our needs. Kathy was patient, telling
us his
parental background and more.
Our pup turned out to be just what I wanted.
I am in the process of training
him now. He is highly intelligent with a strong drive
and
the eagerness to please and
learn, while showing he can be loving at the same
time.
We were so pleased with Kathy
and Hans and the pup that my wife wanted to go
back
and get a Shepherd of her own
which we did the following March. My wife wanted
one
with a more laid back
temperament but with the drive to be trained for
protection.
She was not disappointed either.
Koda is a big "teddy bear" weighing in at 120
pounds,
but you let someone
approach his territory that he is unsure of, and he lets them
know
about it. We then went back to
Kathy several months ago and bought our seven year
old
daughter her own female. The new
pup is just a spitfire and we are having the time
of our lives with
her and she keeps the males on their toes.
You cannot go
wrong with any of Kathy's pups or adult dogs. She takes great pride
in her
breeding only the best or
getting the best imports that money can buy. We have
seen
numerous litters and imports
that Kathy has bred and brought in and they are
beautiful,
strong and healthy pups. I tell
anyone looking for a German Shepherd pup/dog that if
they
want quality, they need to see
this wonderful lady and her pups! With everything
Kathy
and Hans have done for us during
our purchases, we have also
become very good friends.

YAGO VON DER
VALLENDARER HOHE
I
want to tell you that I appreciate all that you have done for
me in
getting this pup. There's not too many people that would have gone to this
trouble with little to gain. When I first
bought Tresco from you I didn't
believe
a
puppy could be as smart as he was. Everyone loved
him.
People would comment on him when they came to my house. Then
one sad
day
for me and my son; he
died. A man drove off the road into my yard
killing
Tresco with my son watching. So for me to get
a
pup that's as nice as Yago
seems perfect and I am
overjoyed.
As I said you
had nothing to gain as far as money went, but a friend forever.
Yago slept with my son
in his room on his bed just like they were raised
together.
When it's time for me
to get a female pup I will be giving you a
call.
I highly
recommend anyone who is interested in pup or have needs of their own
to get in touch with
both of you. Yago is here for a long time I
hope.
I will be calling
again.
Thank you

You have made us so happy with Sophie.
She is such a good girl. Dave teases me
and says she's my shadow
- wherever I go, she's right beside me. She
was housebroken within 2 days. Now she'll go to the door and
whine.
When we go outside, she knows she does her
business before I give her attention. She doesn't like the
crate, but
accepts it after a couple of minutes. She lays
right beside me when I'm on the computer working. Just now
starting
to teach her to sit and give me her paw. She
always comes when we call her name.
We are so blessed to have her in our lives!

Max vom Buflod (LION VOM ANGER/ UNA

First, we
would like to thank you for all your support and giving us a such a
wonderful
companion.
Max is
doing well and will be getting
neutered by the end of this month. I would
also like to take this time to recommend you
and your
puppies to anyone. We found you over the Internet and as you know
there are thousandsof
breeders and making a selection
can be
very difficult. What we liked the best was that your website
was resourceful, you always answered your phones and made
the
whole
process very easy. When it came time to pick the puppy you
were eager to show us the parent and had a list of questions
and
detailed
records of Max which made us very comfortable. Max is
every thing we were looking for, He is extremely intelligent,
has a
superb temperement and is always willing to learn. We signed
him up for a 8 weeks puppy class when he was 10 weeks
old, he
was always
ahead of his class and the instructors was teaching him more of an
intermediate skills. Like I said Max has a superb
temperement
and love
kids, and is very affectionate. I also want to thank Kathy for
assisting us every step of the way when we had question form
selecting
a collar,
nutrition to fences. Kathy thank you for taking the time and
your concern.
We are
very pleased and highly recommend your puppies to anyone who is
looking for a quality dog.
Again,
thank you for everything.

Sheena vom Buflod
If
anyone is looking for a German Shepherd, then look no further. If
any questions, just look at mine on the photos, "Sheena Vom
Buflod" She is everything and more than I
expected!!!
As a
Former Police Officer; now on
disability, I worked with the officer who had the K-9. I can
tell you these are far above what I ever
thought!!!!
The
information, follow-up, or anything you think of is done by
them!!!!! Honestly, if I had more room, I
would get companions for Sheena!!!!
Just
for one example, when I take her to the local pet store to get
treats and cat food, I cannot go without at least planning an hour,
as everyone wants to look,
pet,
talk to me about Sheena, as I take her with me EVERY time!!!!
Of German decent, I feel honored to have such a GREAT dog, that I
actually
call
her my "girlfriend"!!! Being only 39, and now have to be
retired, ha, she is not only a companion, protector, but does not
even try to
hurt
my cats, (although she really gets upset that they will not play
with her!!!)
If
any uncertainty, Hans or Kathy know how to find me, and "no" I do
not get any money,
free
things or such for saying this!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to both of
you!!! (and

VA Dux de Cuatro Flores
Sire of Walt and Margies' male
"GOTZ"
I
am a retired Police Lieutenant from Cleveland PD. My
wife Margie and I purchased two pink papered import females
from
Kathy
in early 2005 upon my retirement. I let Kathy know that I was
interested in the "right" male if they came across one that
would
be good for my two females. The females are both out of VA
fathers and V rated mothers (VA5 BSZS, Quirin Hochmoor
x
V
Roxette Karanberg and VA5 (Austria)V2 BSZS Sarko di Casa Mary x V
Gisi Batu). A month or so later, Kathy called me
and
let
me know that she had just imported a black and red male that would
match up well with my two girls. I went to check him
out
and
he was a knock out looking pup. Kathy explained to me that he
was out of an up and coming young male that was
presently
rated
in the 2004 BSZS at SG4 but she was certain he would be rated much
higher in the 2005 Ulm BSZS. After checking out
the
pup
and his pedigree, I purchased him. His mother is V Zimba vom
Hirschel (research shows Zimba is a V rated highly thought
of
mother).
To make a long story shorter, this male pup is a year old now and is
gorgeous. He is on the large side and has a
beautiful
redish coat, with a very nice face. True to Kathy's opinion,
his sire (Dux de Cuatro Flores) went VA 6 at Ulm
2005.
My
two females are also beautiful, although one (Vroni) is a hair too
large for a female. But her personality and tempement
more
than
make up for her size. We have not encountered any health
problems with our three pups at all. Kathy has assisted us with
any
questions
we have thrown at them over the past nine months (including some
really dumb ones :) and we highly recommend her
as
a
source for a puppy. I also fell in love with their stud male,
Lion. What a dog.
One
more thing I would like to address. I have done extensive
research into the pricing of imported pups and find that Kathy's
prices
are the fairest around. Sure, I would like to have gotten them
cheaper, who wouldn't.
But
it just can't be done as far as I can tell. Not for quality
imported pups. I will send pictures
soon.
Walt
and Margie
Thomas.
